I love what I have seen of this game so far! The screenshots, the experience of roaming the abandoned suburbia, and the stories people have told. That being said, I am new to both Desura and Project Zomboid, and I know this is a new update, I am just not sure I am running the latest build, and if I am, why is it slightly different to the screenshots and vids I have seen?

There isnt a tutorial or story mode I can access, nor is there a quest manager in my top right corner. Does this mean I'll never run into any NPCs?

I am not sure if this is a UI change, or if I am somehow running an older build. I cant tell because the game doesnt show a build history in any obvious places.

Help? (sorry, I thought I posted this on the main page earlier)
