Welcome to my ModDB profile page! Check out my twitter or blog to keep up to date on my current projects. Or head over to the downloads or images section to view and play my work. I mainly work in Hammer Editor, often creating map remakes of popular games for Half-Life 2. although I do enjoy making single player/puzzle maps.

so it's nice work.
I have no experience with 3D tools, so hats off to you for the diligence to learn Hammer; and you're evidently quick and efficient with it.
but...
your proportions are off.
- the diving platform's vertical pillars are too squat (compressed vertically; too thick in cross-section); the platforms themselves are too thick in the vertical plane
- the pool is only about 60% of the correct width (which is why you've an entire vertical column missing from the pool's surrounding windows, in the left to right plane.
- the photo has huge amounts of blue tone in the concrete surfaces that's absent from your stonework and shadow; quite apart from the green content that's missing too, given the absent vegetation.
if you're thinking about this as a potentially strong portfolio piece to show your modelling skills, I'd agree; but I'd also give some thought to punching up these aspects. probably a small increment of extra effort would pay off with a much better reproduction.
