I am seriously tired of mods saying that something is a WIP to completely dodge critique. It makes no sense...why would you even post it then? I wouldn't post a render of a cube and say it's a WIP of a ferrari, and then chide everyone that comments saying "It's just a WIP".
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I feel that every single image you post up is basically promotional art; why would anyone post up promotional art that sucks....unless they want people to critique it. Accept or debate the criticism; thats all that you gotta do

It's not dead. Not many of us actively working on it, though. Once work clears up, I've got some things up my sleeve that will rejuvenate it.

I replied to your comment on my terragen 2 pics, check it out for a link to the plugin for max, and a project created by someone there using both.
I've seen how helpful to other people you can be with modeling, animating, and texturing. It has really inspired me before and I have taken most of what you've said to practice.
I was wondering if you could point me to any specific tutorials to help me learn modeling. I'm not someone who can sit down and spend a day or two to learn something that requires much creativity like modeling. I'm not a creative brained person, I require some form of tutorial.
I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience and that you and I have had no prior meeting and if I'm asking a great deal of you.
