I am a Polish-American, traveling Cinematographer, Web Developer and Games Programmer. During the past decade, I have lived in or travelled all across the US, Poland, Japan, North Ireland, Scotland, India, Costa Rica, and currently Los Angeles. During my travels I take on freelance web and filmmaking gigs as they come. Oh, and I also dabble in hobby game-making as well, having worked in the industry for two years before. Also, I really like riding my bicycle.

I kind of liked the idea and thinking of making it an ongoing thing - maybe like a weekly rotation of the most popular user-submitted article?

Hey, just wanted to say I love the artstyle and theme :) I'm working on side-project and it was exactly the artstyle I wanted but due to my lacking artistic abilities and not wanting to hire an artist at this time, settled for full 3D instead (ironic that was actually easier to do these days).

Anyway, just added to my watchlist, hopefully all goes well :)

I know this is super old and you probably wont even see it, but I'm playing Xanadu right now (love all the SS2 nods!). I'm close to releasing my own story-driven game (Karaski: What Goes Up...) taking place on a Slavic-themed 1920s airship heading to its doom. So lots of "background incidental text" as well.

The idea about "Real" and "surface" reading is intriguing! In our game, one of the goals is finding a culprit of the sabotage. What tools you choose, how you explore and how you talk to people determines what clues you find and, thus who the culprit turns out to be (it is deliberately open-ended). I think it's a very similar idea to what you're going for, albeit it's proven hard to balance so that the player feels confident and not confused in their choice.

As I replied to HooterBabby, we're still contemplating next project, might take a bit of a break from the Postmortem universe for a change. But it's definitely a ripe material for more scenarios, and something we considered from the get go, so might get back to it in the future :)

Aye, and I always cite The Walking Dead as a wonderful example of how you can make a "cartoony" game that still tackles serious motifs and creates a serious atmosphere. Many other indies too, like Home or Lone Survivor.
