Thank you for holding out this long, I’m actively working on a few sample maps! But still have a ways to go before I can start planning some real work.

It’s been a long time. How have you been? I’ve been really busy being dead.
This project has changed names several times since its humble beginnings as a repercussions wannabe. It started as Aperture Evacuation, then Delayed Evacuation, and is now Erebus as of recent.
I still very much intend to work on this but if I am going to be honest, I need to build up my mapping skills a bit first and release some unrelated maps before even thinking about resuming. This is not coming back until I am absolutely certain I can see it through.
Thanks.
;)
I may be reactivate this once I get a few maps finished.
thank you!
My headcanon is that Old Aperture had a full scale rail network (including surface connections) before someone decided that tubes were a good idea. It'll pop up a lot in the mod.
I have a story in mind now, and boy is it going to be dark.
Thanks :)
I wanted to go for that perfect balance between a realistic machine and the "oh this giant white tank makes neurotoxin" look that Portal 2 had.
thanks. I'll be taking care of each of those.
Thank you so much!
Some train engines in real life have hazzard marks on the front, but I'll try a few other textures. And yeah, I plan to have a spotlight with dust for sure.
I based it off of this:
Rrpicturearchives.net
Looks nice! I would probably use a different texture for the pillars and the ceiling. Maybe use the same texture as the back wall for the ceiling.
you're getting better!
I agree, that the open space needs to be smaller, even if it's just a little bit.
Thank you! And... fixed?
Not sure about a floor cable since this is a general walking area and there's no cable props that are short enough.
No, believe me it's not. I don't even have the first map.
Interesting looking environments.
... and you captured my entire feeling about my mod.
I apologize. My life is way too busy now that school is back so managing a team is difficult. I'll add you to a list of potential candidates.
sure, could you reply with some info on who you are? It's saying you're a guest.
Aw, thank you very much! :)
And you will get there. Just watch what more professional mappers do and try to use their tactics.
I've changed the textures yet again. How about now?
yep. Just trying out a few hl2 textures. Once I finish this map, I'll remove some of the duplicate photos.
Yep, this is a transitional chamber from the late 80s. The Player will wake up in an 80s themed area.
Sorry about the wait. What would you be interested in helping me with?
Lol. This is also a bit delayed. If you still can't figure out hammer, maybe you could just design tests instead.
I'm still deciding just what I'll need for voice acting, but maybe I could run the story by you.
You can contact me at juniverse00@gmail.com or on discord at Jverse #7535.
Still interested? Sorry for the long hiatus. Could you send over a few examples of your mapping skills?
As for the story, I could use some advice. Maybe contact me in a PM or at juniverse00@@[gmail.com](members:gmailcom:1498337)
