Been working on powersups, the last major system before I start balancing the game.
Goals! These are missions that you are given and include things like reaching a certain level or point total, or collecting certain tile combinations. Once the player achieves all the current goals, an item (hat/outfit/powerup/tile) will be unlocked and a new set of goals will be given.

This is an image from the gameplay. The top portion scrolls right to left. If the character left (as it is now) the game is over. To advance to the right and stay alive the player must match tiles into sets.
Work in progress image of the main menu scene. You can see which outfits, hats, powers and tiles you have unlock. You can also select your outfit/hat and flower tile. This is a WIP image.
