How long approximatively before we get our hands on the multiplayer part for this mod?
No stress, just want to know, i'd like to play with bots, hopefully there will be all kind of vehicles too.
It'd be great to see bigger multiplayer maps with lot of content in, a bit like what you can find in the Battlefront games or even some maps from Movie Battles II.
I know that the engine has its limits, especially considering it's 32bit, but the team behind Naboo for Movie Battles II did a great job on that map.

That's great to know, looking forward the multiplayer and useable vehicles (by us and the bots).

I discovered this mod recently, i remember asking for some kind of music player on the Knights of the Force mod, it's cool to finally see this.

If i can ask two more things.

Will you enhance the gameplay of the mod? Using either OJP or some new mod, the gameplay in Movie Battles II is great too.

Second, will it be ported to OpenJK? It'd be cool, even though what would really be important is some kind of 64bit executable because it crashes a lot.

Anyway, thanks for the great mod, i certainly recommend it.

Just wondering if this mod will be updated.
If so, what will it get? Is the content from the last movie, the Mandolorian and future movies / series planned?

Also, would it be possible to make it entirely playable on multiplayer with the bots just like Knights of the Force?

Looking forward your reply, thanks.

I had a feeling that the mod was out.
My guts were right!
Thanks! Now i can't wait for the 300 more guns in the up-coming updates!

Just joking of course, honestly, i'd prefer a port over the recent total conversions and fixes to make it a complete mod instead of being a beta.

I wouldn't get my hope too high for Borderlands 3, we are talking about 2K/Gearbox after all, the game will have microtransactions, will be overpriced and who knows what else.

It's been a while since i left a comment here, but i was still checking the page in case of updates, since your last update, i'm checking at least once each day though because of the hype haha.

But i was wondering about something, for what mods will you release this mod?
At first it was supposed to be Call of Chernobyl, then Road to the North was the one then it was another mod (forgot which one though, was it Dead Air?).
So yeah, which mod will it release for first?
And then will it release for other mods? There are lot of great mods so of course, it'd take too long to port it to each of them but there are a few mods that'd be worth having this ported over.

Call of Chernobyl is a bit dated and by reading the news from March, it looks like the mod will never be updated again so it wouldn't be worth to port it over there.

So got any ideas on what mod you'll port it for primarily? and are there gonna be more than one?

Keep up the good work, can't wait to cheeki breeki in a zone that's actually armed with multiple different weapons.

Look for "Star Wars" and you got plenty of generally good models and textures.
But yes, they generally do come from other games.

Who said that i was mad? I'm just giving you some facts, once again you keep coming up with all that fiction of yours.
I have lot of arguments and facts unlike you, just read at everything you've said so far, come on, it's easy enough to see that you're in the wrong, not us.

Why should it be someone else to do it? Why can't it be you? Too lazy? You want everything to be done by someone else?

Come on, grow up. Anyway, i don't see any point in replying back to you since it seems you have maturity problems.
I mean, come on, if you absolutely want something, then do some of the work, he or no one of us are paid to make such modification nor we are obliged to do everything you tell us to do, you're not our master, stop trying to act like you're important, you're not. It's all good to give suggestions but come on, if it's a no, it's a no, and something this simple can be done by you, it's simple, use your brain, you'll see, it'll do you good.

Well, no point in telling more, you probably still don't understand anyway.
I'm totally fine by the way, i don't know why i would get mad over some random person on the internet. You're actually the one who looks mad that your "sensivity" are not all the same.

Well, can't say that i didn't try to help you, good luck with the rest now.

You're trying to talk about facts but none of those are facts.
Even the "bad for muscle memory" is just all wrong, how old are you? 12? Hell even when i was 12 i didn't had any problems with such thing.

Seriously, if all guns had the same sensivity, not only it would be unrealistic and boring, not fun at all.
Even different guns of the same category acts differently.
Like some people said, modify it to your liking, but don't force it into us, the mod isn't even out yet, we'd love to see it released some day, and even once it'll be released, there are better things to add/do than do something only a casual player would want.

So i'll say it once again, once the mod comes out, modify it yourself to your liking, if you want something, you have to your own work too, when it comes to modding, i also fix and modify stuff to my liking, especially in Fallout and the Elder Scrolls, i spent more than 100 hours, if not more, on modding and changing stuff to my liking.

And now we're talking about something pretty easy to do, time-consuming sure but easy to do.

The FG 42 in Forgotten Hope 2 is pretty good.
So is the one in Day of Infamy.
And if i remember well, there's a mod for Arma 3 that adds a well made one.

I already know about Bohemia, they're a bad developer/publisher for many reasons anyway.

I'm sure you can find better models and textures for the RPG, also, there's more than one variant for the RPG,it'd be cool to get them if possible, not so important though, i'm not really one to play with that kind of weapon except if i have some kind of big though creature to kill.

And for the STG-44,it also has some variants, so does the mp-40, now those would be great to get, i mean their variants that are neither in Armed Zone nor Misery.
And you also got the "custom" variants, for example the STG44 in Wolfenstein: The New Order.
If you consider the real life alternatives plus the video games alternatives, you got lot of choices, but that would be too much work, at least for now. Releasing the mod someday would before we die would be pretty cool haha.

Sure it would kinda hurt the lore, but hey, with this many guns, hasn't the lore not already been broken?
Well, i certainly be interested in some of those weapons if you're interested in bringing them later.

And to answer what Servalion said.
There is a good model for the Browning Auto-5 and the M-1918 BAR.
Good M-1918 BAR models and textures can be found in Verdun, Day of Infamy and maybe Heroes & Generals but i don't play that game so i can't say if it is any good.
Also, Enemy Front has one but it could be better.
The Browning Auto-5 is in Screaming Steel: 1914-1918 (mod for Day of Infamy) if i remember well. And well... there's probably one in Battlefield One and Red Dead Redemption 2 but i have not played those games, and one of them isn't on PC yet, and porting stuff from a console game won't look as good.
For the AA-12, Killing Floor 2 has one, and i think that Rainbow Six Siege has one too, i don't play that crap though so i don't know if it looks any good.
Warface has an ak-9 as far as i know, don't know what it looks like, i don't play that game but who knows, it could be enough.
Oh well, for now, World War II weaponry is what i want the most, i'd love to go on a killing spree with an FG 42.

Born to Kill (mod for Insurgency and Day of Infamy) has some pretty neat stuff too. If i can say, retextures on the Steam workshop are actually better than what Tripwire make, their models/textures aren't that great to be honest, when modders can do better than a developer like that, there's certainly something wrong.

For the best content, you just gotta look at the retextures people make for games like those. They're generally very great.
But anyway, before having more Vietnam weapons, i'd be interested in more World War II weaponry. Anyway, the mod already has the "important" Vietnam stuff such as the Mac-10, the m16, the ak-47, the Tokarev, the m60, etc... i don't remember if this mod has a Stoner LMG, but it could certainly use the one from Killing Floor 2.

I want more handguns and more World War II weaponry, that's for sure.

That's what i thought for Sniper Elite 4 but didn't know about Battlefield.
Well, i know that most weapons and mods uses low-poly models as far as i know, such a shame.

Can i ask what are those WW2 era guns stashed you got? Other than the stuff we already know.
And are you gonna add those after new release or before?

By the way, if you're looking to port some more World War II weaponry.
Sniper Elite 4 has some of them, but you probably already know about that, this post isn't about that anyway.

Forgotten Hope 2 for Battlefield 2, that mod adds a good amount of weapons of the World War II.
Beretta 1938, Beretta Model 1934, Carcano, etc...
Not the best models and textures ever but very good nonetheless.
You would just have to ask them if they're ok with you porting them into this mod.

Heat of Battle and BFHD PRO II has some very well made weapons too, and they're not even done releasing new weapons for their mods.

No but seriously, am i the only one who really likes those goold ol' Italian and Japanese World War 2 weapons? They're pretty neat in my opinion.

Yes and no, there are a few ones where you can store them safely, while all of the rest no.
But even so, i wouldn't really do it, especially on Road to the North, NPCs are crazy on that mod, they take everything so quickly compared to the other mods and the base game.

But anyway, having an "home" or even some kind of "personal room" at some locations, that'd would help a lot, let's wait what mp5lng has to say about this cause it would certainly take some time to do.

Just a "not so important" suggestion, could you bring the mod on Steam like some other mods does?
As far as i know, as long as you don't make money off it and that the developer is fine with it, you should be able to do it.

Let me know what you think about it. It's not the most important thing to do, fixes, new content and maybe even extend the map would be more cool, but the Steam addition would be a pretty neat too.
By the way, do you intent to add new content such as extending the map?

Yeah my bad, that was from another mod, anyway, i don't think that Groza with a drum mag actaully exists, never seen a real one except from some image which i can't remember where i seen it.

There's already one or two Groza in Armed Zone if i remember well.

This one: Moddb.com

And the other one with a drum mag.

Don't know if they got updated or not, the one from the picture from the link you shared is cool enough though, it has a grip and a few differences.

But honestly, i'd prefer the mod to be released before adding more weapons, that we can wait for future updates.

I hope to see weapon/armor degradation back with this mod.
And preferably scripted so it can work with every mods by default.
I still find it very dumb that they have not made it this way in Fallout 4.
I don't care about the casual players, repairing stuff isn't even hard, it makes it more realistic, more fun and it adds gameplay (repair skill, etc).

I doubt it will come with this mod but a man can always hope.

It won't, too many heavy resources which a console wouldn't be able to handle.

Plus considering how anti-consumer Sony is, i doubt that they would even allow such mod but i could be wrong about that.

Amazing mod nonetheless, hope that you'll bring some new content such as maps and weapons.

For people who want to know how to make it work on Steam without it being standalone.
You have to rename the folder "BF2" to "BF3" or whatever you want which is located in BFHD/Mods and you have to move it to the mods folder of the original Battlefield 2 game.
Make a copy of bf2.exe and BFHDSP.exe, keep them just in case.
Delete the bf2.exe (just be sure to keep a backup of it) and rename the new BFHDSP (BFHDSP - Copy.exe) to: bf2.exe and that's it, you can now launch the mod normally through the mod list and all of that while playing it on Steam (or even Origin).

I'd prefer bots to a campaign to be honest, the mod was fun back then but i can barely see anyone playing these days, it's always on the same maps so in my opinion, bots would do a better job than a campaign but a campaign would be good too considering how good this mod, the best one in my opinion and i have tried almost all the total conversions out there.

Bots would be an huge 10/10 for me but i don't except them to do it, they were never interested in making bots for this mod, such a shame.

My PC is one of the best you can build these days so that isn't the problem, the game not being a 64bit game changes everything even with the enbboost and the NVSE heap settings.
If it would play on a 64-bit engine, it would run at 60 fps and higher no stutterings etc.
Let's not forget that i play on 4k and with many, many mods.

Such a shame but oh well, good luck with the rest of the mod, hope that i'll be able to play it well even with my other mods otherwise it will just give me lot of work to do.

Looking forward to the mod.

"and provide a lot more support in optimizing the engine side of things. Our art is just running up against the limits of what this old engine can do. We need source code. Or, we need to do tedious work to work around limitations on both low end systems and high end ones that can handle all the pretty stuff at 60fps."

I'm wondering, are you trying to say that you'd make it 64bit if you had the possibility to do so?
If that's so, you should ask Obsidian if it would be possible to get the source code to change it, they already know about this mod so who knows, you may able to get it unless it is up to Bethesda to decide, could always try asking them too.
I'd love 64bit for this game so it would actually run smooth.

If not, what do you plan to do? I am already using ton of mods, Tale of Two Wastelands, i do plan on getting my hands on the Frontier once it will be out so i was wondering what kind of "work" you can do for that kind of limitation, will it affect the whole game or only the location of the mod itself?

Good luck nonetheless with the rest of the mod, i can't wait to play it.

Once the mod gets released, it would be great if you could add a Beretta 87 in the mod if there is not already one.
I may have already asked about those but I'll ask for them again; the Beretta m1938, Beretta m1934, Carcano m1891/1941/1938 would also be really amazing to have.
I would also like to add the Johnson Model 1941, that gun is just so beautiful (in my opinion) but I doubt that you'll find it anywhere.
Most of them can be found in Sniper Elite 3 and Sniper Elite 4, for the Beretta 87, Millenia made one a few years ago.

I'm always happy when there are more World War II (or older) weapons, for some reason, I just love them, and I could say the same about the bows, I don't remember exactly what you said about this, probably that animations would be too hard to make which is understandable, if you fall upon some animations for some bows someday, I would totally love having them in S.T.A.L.K.E.R, preferably traditional bow > takedown bow > crossbows > compound bow.

But for now, I just can't wait for the mod to be released, I won't play Misery 2.2 until I get my hands on this, keep up the great work! And I hope to see this mod up soon.

One more question, how much do you plan on adding new weapons and content in the mod once it gets released?
I would really like if weapons such as the Springfield m1903 could be used with and without scope instead of being forced to use it only with a scope, that could be something you could work on once the full version is released.
