Yes, it's aged, but I don't think that makes the graphics bad. Just outdated. More modern engines use more modern techniques which tend to look better, but there is a charm with these older engines' graphics that I like. You can also get a game to look very modern in this engine given enough effort.

Hello person of the past, that did not happen. We are on Id Tech 7 now and Id Tech 5's source still hasn't been released.

Prey (2017) is the Prey I assume you are thinking of. That wasn't made in this. Prey (2006) was. Also Quake 4 and Doom 3 were made in this. Doom 3 is well know and considered to be great by many people, though some disagree.

Also: Any support for a skeletal model format like IQM or MD5? If not, any plans?

Ok, was curious mostly because of the stencil shadows. Though, since ID tech 4 is opensource I guess it makes more sense that both sourceports borrow from that. This does run and look much better than Berserker BTW, so great job!

Is this a modded version of the Berserker engine?

It's a modded in feature, pretty sure you can turn it off in one of the menus. Not sure why you would think this is a glitch, there is a shader effect on them when they are invisible that distorts what's behind them.

Are you talking about graphically? Because graphically it looks more like Id Tech 2... Not sure how this plays though, doesn't look too interesting.

This was a really poor attempt to recreate the feel of the old Quake models. Still, I feel like I learned some stuff from it. Instead of making a mod for Doom I'm going to try to make a "retro" style game of my own. In Godot. Where I can really experiment with gameplay and artstyles.

I think I'm gonna do a total rehaul of this mod at some point in the near future. Keep an eye out for that.

Works in zandronum and it should work in gzdoom. Are you having problems running it?

Nope. Nobody else feels the need to give feedback I guess.

I like a lot of what this game has going for it, but the character movement just sucks. Everything is just really delayed and sluggish, especially the jump. When the jump does finally work you're rocketing towards the ceiling. It just doesn't make much sense. I hope the dev is able to fix this though because it seems like it'd be a pretty fun game.
