So... Okaaaay... Why did this game cease development?
Was it copyright or anything like that?
You know, it was going on so well... It's a shame to see it archived.

I would sincerely prefer him to release FNAF4 on 10/31. This way he would have more time to enhance the game's graphics and mechanics (since the basic gameplay is already completed).

Why isn't there a Steam Greenlight page for FNAF4... Yet? It was just about time now.
Also, why is everyone believing what does Scott say? He trolled everyone before. He could do that again.
I don't know, but this "new release date" thing is kinda strange to me. I sincerely hope it releases on 08/08, but I just can't fully believe it.
I don't post theories often, but I'll give this 08/08 release three possibilities:
1) IT'S A TRAP. A SPRINGTRAP. Scott trolls us all and release another modded troll game (or nothing at all) and makes the fandom cry. Release date is still 10/31.
2) THE JOY OF CREATION... HALFWAY THROUGH IT. Scott will release an incomplete game on 08/08, with feelings of something terribly missing, only for it to be completed with the 10/31 update. So, 10/31 is still important here, as the plot will only be complete with the update.
3) OKAY, YOU WIN!! THERE'S FNAF4!! SATISFIED NOW?!! Scott does just as he said and releases the game on said date. Well... I don't like this one. 10/31 becomes only a DLC release date and not something that people would really look at (apart from fandom, of course).
I don't know. I just posted it here because I got this thing stuck in my head. The probability of Scott lying and trolling is high.. As always.

I'm actually more interested in knowing more about the Puppet and Golden Freddy, which are the only ones who just don't seem to fit inside what we already know.

Well, it could be Shadow Freddy, but that's highly improbable.
According to Scottgames.com's HTML code, 'head' part (which defines each element yet to be shown on the page), there's an element called "gsfecfbs" which defines the pic (given each other element is just old and defines pretty much every other aspect of the website).
Taking this name and trying to decipher it using Caesar Cipher's theory (Each letter is enciphered as another one which is X spaces away on the alphabet, in this case, X=1) you'll find out it means "fredbear".
Try it yourself. Locate the name and decipher it.
Still, I won't say it's 100% sure to be Fredbear... But we, indeed, have more evidence of Fredbear than of Shadow Freddy.
