This is absolutely awesome and unpresidented. I think with this much effort and progress it might even be released sooner than the regular Half-Life Mobile. There still is a lot of work to be done, but in the end it will be so awesome

Also I have an iPad 4, iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, iPod touch 5, iPod touch 4, Droid MAXX and Sansung Galaxy S4 that I can help test on once we get to that point

Release a Half-life: Mobile Beta Lite app

It will contain the tram ride up to where the resonance cascade starts. I think having at least that will make everyone happy until the final beta or release

ok, Here is a fix to the white screen and crash

open up the gameinfo.txt located at
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods\CWTH

delete everything in it and replace it with the GameInfo.txt on this webpage

save it, restart steam and there you go

Valve changed the way Source Mods work, I was able to fix it

Open up C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods\Hetzchase Nailway\gameinfo.txt in notepad, then open up Paste.thezomg.com in chrome and select everything from line 1 to 52, and paste it into notepad, then save and close notepad, restart steam and it will open!

The white screen and startup crash is due to a change that Valve did to how Source Mods work. I am taking the Portal Prelude patch and modifying to work with Heitzchase Nailway. I will put the text that you need to change in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods\Hetzchase Nailway\gameinfo.txt below

Step #1. Open up the start menu and type "run" without the quotes and hit enter

Step #2. Copy and paste this into run "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods\Hetzchase Nailway\gameinfo.txt" without the quotes and hit enter once you have the mod installed.

Step #3. Notepad will open, highlight everything in it and delete it, so everything is blank.

Step #4. Open up this link in a new tab, Paste.thezomg.com and select all the text from line 1. to line 62. Then copy it, and paste it into Notepad.

Step #5. Save notepad then close it.

Step #6. Restart Steam, and then launch the mod, Everything will work now! :)

Put it in C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/common/Half-Life or if you have the disk version of Half-Life C:/Sierra/Half-Life

It would need to be on the amazon appstore, or have a direct download link since kindle fire doesn't have Google Play :/

It's a modified version of the latest Steam Half-Life engine [not the one from Sierra Studios in 1998]

It has new code in it also to allow all that new added stuff to work

Hi Derek, this was not our intent to break the game when Xposed Framework was active. Now I don't know much about xposed but it seems to be a mechanism for altering the default behavior and appearance of Android? Apparently in a way we didn't expect, so no promises, but we will install it on a few Shields here and see if we can work around it.

Awesome! I did not know about that, I will try that when Portal comes out to make my Adreno GPU in my Droid MAXX appear as if it were the Shield's Tegra GPU
