Can Valve just fund this already? I'm sure that would speed things up.

I guess it does. The best looking source title I have right now is Black Mesa, it's loading times are around 10-20 seconds as well, thanks.
Maybe you could add a truck that has crashed and dropped the container? The truck could replace one of the containers as cover.
Is it possible to say how long are the loading times on O:BM or Guard Duty at the moment? With a game looking like that running on Source, I can't help but think what a nightmare the loading times must be, especially when switching maps.
I think they said it won't be released this year, so hopefully no later than 2017.
I think in Opposing Force, the barnacle weapon could kill other enemies. Are you gonna implement this in O:BM too? If so, how? Just make the NPCs explode, like they did in OF? I doubt making the barnacle eat them like in HL2 would be an easy task.
Worked with Rosenberg in Blue Shift, why won't it work here? :D
Looks like you add cutscenes (where the player can't move freely) and give Barney a voice? Those 2 things are probably gonna remove interest in many Half-Life fans, as it doesnt really fit into it.
Some people never stop surprising with what they can do to source engine.
Ya think this will be out by the time Opposing Force turns 20? Or Blue Shift?
If you can release it on steam, why release it on moddb at all? I may be clueless about something here, but isn't it simpler just getting it on steam? And it shows up in steam library either way, right?
I think they said they were not going to make a half-life related game, or not even a first person shooter, after they were done with these. I could be wrong though
For some reason I expect this to be released on 1 November. Maybe not this year, but some year
now you're just asking for fans to spam "Join with black mesa team pl0x! I wanna play the game!"
If you had to make a guess, how many media updates would we see this year, if any?
Comments saying "Trailer coming soon". Might not be near future, but future nonetheless.
If you're gonna release a trailer, you better be ready to release the game soon afterwards, cuz I'm pretty sure fans are gonna get very, Very, impatient after that. Not saying you should rush it, but yeah. People are hyped as hell over screenshots, imagine what a trailer or even gameplay footage would do.
Seeing how good this game looks makes me wonder if you guys are planning to release some or all of your assets for public use. You probably hate hearing this, but Crowbar Collective did it and there are some great content in their workshop, or separate mods on moddb.
Love the hivehand. The HUD looked more three-dimensional in a previous screenshot though, which I liked more. Is this the multiplayer version or are you gonna leave it that way overall?
I noticed the Displacer has only one trigger, but two functions. That primary one probably launches the ball which destroys targets, but what button teleports you to Xen and back?
Black Mesa and Operation: Black Mesa. Kinda does look like a sequel, weren't it for the separate devs. :)
