I love you Mujo keep at it broski.
For anyone reading, no the mod is not dead.
We don't stick to deadlines because many of us are busy with our private lives and we work on the project whenever we're able to, but rest assured progress is being made.
We were working on an article not too long ago but we decided to postpone in the vein of releasing something more meaningful.
Extended is alive!
Dude, don't ever use the default studiomdl.exe that comes with the Half - Life SDK nor the decompiler. They are pretty bad.
Go to Steam and download the Sven Co-Op studiomdl and then for decompiling use Crowbar.
For model viewing, use Half - Life: Asset Manager.
All of these are the most up-to date HL1 modelling tools.
It won't only contain the Hazard Course, it's gonna have the same amount of chapters as HL Day One.
We like the pixelated look, there's no need for upscaling. Whoever wants to play the game filtered is free to do so.
And for sure! Optimization is very high priority for us.
We are not dead! We're writing an article.
We've had some setbacks here and there due to real life situations and whatnot. Last week we entered our playtest for the first 5 chapters of the game with great results.
While I can't say an exact date for a demo release, we're hoping it to be near the end of the month, but we don't promise anything.
Some stashes are really hard to get, that's def true. Like physically interacting with the chest or storage.
Sorry but it's very old and outdated. Hopefully when the new release happens, it'll work properly.
1. More or less ready for a demo.
2. Yes, a new, harder one. Name is currently "Extended"
3. Moddb only.
Patience is key! We want to deliver the best we can :)
It's just the SDK, don't download it from there it contains adware.
It's mostly because we're taking our time polishing up the areas we want to release in the demo.
Hazard Course will be bundled with the Day One demo, so don't worry.
We appreciate your patience! We're looking to deliver the best experience we can, so that's why we are taking a long time.
Due to the length and nature of our work, we don't expect to do either of these at any time. It's too time consuming.
But anyone's free to try when we release our assets.
My guess is just leftover/old code not working properly.
Disregard the SDK entirely, it's extremely outdated.
The demo will include Hazard Course, Anomalous Materials, Unforeseen Consequences, Office Complex and We've Got Hostiles.
No set date, but we're aiming for an October/November release.
We're aiming for an October/November release.
The standard handgun, the revolver, the desert eagle, the shotgun as well as the MP5.
We only do them when we find them necessary to showcase anything we find particularly interesting.
As of now we're mostly working on maps and such, so not much can be shown that wouldn't spoiler a bit of the demo.
We might upload some images to the media tab though.
People are eager for the extension!!
I believe it's something possible.
CS 1.6 does have this as an option after all and it simply flips the viewmodel, so the same could be done.
No tenemos una fecha exacta, los sacamos cuando tenemos necesidad de mostrar muchas cosas.
Probablemente saquemos uno cuando estemos cerca de la demo.
