Looks awesome. I've been playing the mod none stop for a few weeks. I hope you guys implement the civilian fleet at some point. That was one of my most played custom starts back on the original mod.

Great Roster. Although, in my opinion I think you should Include either the Loki Heavy Cruiser as an escort or the Demeter (maybe the Demeter is more preferable because it is just a modified Osiris class so it may be easier to model).
Will you be including any assets from Blood and Chrome? That would help increase the ship roster for both sides.
Any news on a potential Beta launch? From the looks of things the mod is in a playable state and we're all excited to play it
Those are broadside flak cannons. They help provide cover fire for the escape pods which run along the length of wings.
It’s a great year to be a mass effect fan
The 343 version is stated at being 1580 meters.
If you Include the Kett as some kind of neutral faction you could have some scenarios similar to the Galactica mod. The Ark could have an arsenal of shuttles, fighters, and transport ships and you have to survive from the Kett.
Definitely prefer this version over 343's original design. This one is more artistically consistent with the rest of the UNSC fleet. Good job
There's more where that came from
This will always be my favorite ship
Try verifying your files for sins on steam first then attempt to load it. Also, in case you haven’t already, don’t combine the latest version of DOTR with the old one (don’t place the new DOTR files into the old DOTR folder) each version of the mod should be loaded and played separately from one another unless it is otherwise specified as a patch.
As said in the description, this is a cruiser that is going to replace the Hawking carrier
No work has been done on particle effects (weapons, engines, FTL etc) but there have been significant improvements to lighting, planets, and textures. Particles will be remastered too, but they are currently not the main priority. More information to come soon.
Hey Kyle, DOTR4Lyf
Cerberus is getting a complete rework, so Escape as you know it in the public build no longer exists. Instead we will be introducing the Andromeda Initiative as a Minor Faction, that you can forge an alliance with. The Andromeda Initiative Minor Faction will allow a faction to build the Arks and Nexus so long as they have the funding.
We agree with you totally. Fighter and frigate movement is unfortunately a result of stock sins. We're disusing ways in which we can improve it, but it's unfortunately a problem Stardock need to fix.
This design will be replacing the Kilimanjaro Dreadnought that is currently in the mod.
Nikko really did a great job fleshing out both these designs. Both the carriers can be seen in plenty of Mass Effect concept art so they are TeChNicAlLy canon.
It will function similar to a Battlestar flight pod. The fighters will slingshot launch at high speeds from small openings in the port and starboard sides. The fighters then land in the aft of the ship in the reentry hangers located between the 2 thrusters. You can see 3 of the aft hangers labeled in the concept art.
All the factions in DOTR are having a rework of their ship rosters. So don’t expect factions to have the same ships they once had. For the Batarians, they are no longer part of the citadel council and are exclusive to the mercenary faction. Meaning Batarian ships are unlikely to be re-skinned for another faction or group.
Still a work in progress, but the DA is pretty bright to begin with
hmm, after you enabled the mod and applied the changes did you wait for it to take you back to the main menu? It sounds like you restarted too early whilst sins was trying to enable the mod.
Try again now on the latest uploaded image. We tend to show most our development in the Chokepoint Games Discord server, under the Dawn of the Reapers channel.
I'd need more info on the problem. If I had to guess, you didn't unzip the DOTR mod file.
You need to unzip and only place the "DOTR" file and the "Enable mod" file into your Sins mod folder. Make sure to check it's enabled in game too.
You can enable the mod by launching sins, select "Options" then "mods".
Then select the mod you want enabled, apply changes, then restart for good measure.
No there will not be a Quarian faction, but you can still play as them through the council. Hmmm, you may have installed the mod incorrectly, there are no Vanilla assets or factions in DOTR.
I'm guessing you put the Zip file in the mod folder for sins. You need to unzip it first. Don't put the Zip in the mod folder.
I love it! it's like if halo 3 was made for game cube
Quality of this mod is still phenomenal
