I emailed him a week ago. Either he will reach out to you, he'll either reach out to me (in which case I'll inform you) or his team will decide they do not wish to take it on.

If they don't, I have connections to some TW Youtubers and can ask one to do a video over this mod and let it be known the mod is available for a mod team to get permission from you to make a Remastered version.

Why is so much of the text missing? When I open the menu in campaign, all the buttons like "Continue", "Quit", "Options", etc. are blank. Same with a lot of unit and building descriptions. Do you know why that is and would you be able to fix it in an updated version of this mod?

In any case, thank you for this! It helps open files up so we can properly edit the game as we wish!

Well, I have since left my full-time job, so I'm not willing to pay a large sum. I'm only very new to modding and I'm working on Rome 2 and Attila. If you have no plans to bring this mod to Rome: Remastered, would you be willing to give access of your mod over to the Chivalry: Total War team (specifically GudeaTW). Gudea has expressed some interest in medieval Asia and your mod would give them a huge step forward, and I'm sure you'd obviously be credited with the creation of the mod (which would become VERY) popular, because...

Genghis Khan is probably the only reason I'd buy R:R and I'm sure it's the same with a lot of people since R:R is a "new" TW title and we've never had an Asia TW that (more-or-less) had all of medieval Asia in it.

Even if the answer's no, please let me know your answer when you can!

Would you be willing to split the Primitive Tribes faction in the South America campaign into the Amazonian Tribes for the Amazon and something like the Yahgan Tribes for the area south of the Mapuche and then make them both playable (as in not massively in debt on turn 1)?

I love your SA campaign and it would benefit massively by having this change, especially the Amazonian tribes!

I'm sometimes surprised by how active the modding scene is for M2 even to this day. I was so happy when I saw this mod, not realising it's a recent WIP that's not out yet for us to play.

Werety, do you have any estimated date you're thinking this will release?

*Edit, also would this mod have the Apache as an emergent faction that are on an active warpath? I can see them being an invasive faction that are large-ish and regularly invade the northern areas. And would the Spanish end-game threat also bring about the plague like we get in vanilla M2?

I haven't played this mod since 2021 at the latest. Have lesser focused factions been fleahed out a bit? I remember starting as the leader of Afghanistan but I started put with nothing, Kabul looked like London, there was no location-accurate clothing, etc.

Your install instructions don't exactly make sense. For many of us, Rome TW Gold and Rome TW Alexander are different games; one has Rome and BI while the other only has Alexander.

How do install?

Great job on this mod so far!

Because some factions currently speak various accents they shouldn't like Scottish, French, English, etc., I went to change them all (except Portugal) to Arabic. I went to the descr_sounds_accents.txt, but I didn't change anything because the accent lines are all messed up. Instead of the like ten or so different lines of vanilla accents, there are only three: Mediterranean, Arabic, and Indian. Idk why every other accent is missing and the not-vanilla Indian accent is there, but there are more than three accents in the mod at the moment so idk how your version of accents works. How do I switch accents to Arabic? It's weird to play in India and hear French, Russian, Scottish, etc.

If that's the case then all well and good, but why not rename Almoravids to Cordoba then? The Emirate of Cordoba controlled the lower half of Iberia from approximately 755 through 1015, well within the scope of the setting. Almoravids didn't show up until the 1050's.

One more question trying not to be annoying: Are you still planning on having the Almoravids start in Iberia when they originated in southeastern Morocco? Same with Ghana, which should be in the very bottom left corner instead of the mountains where the picture text says it would be + Rustamids being Ibadi instead of Sunni?

This mod is good overall, but I was a bit disappointed with the Seljuk Expansion campaign. It has the fewest factions of any campaign, and it's not totally accurate. The Abbasids were not yet "revived" as a caliphate and instead that factions should be the named the 'Buyid Emirate of Baghdad' (and follow Shi'a Islam instead of Sunni Islam). Also, whereas the Turks are named more properly in the other campaigns, the Turks here are still named Rum Sultanate, which they wouldn't have been yet. They should just be named the Seljuk Empire or Seljuk Sultanate.

Again, good overall, but I installed it specifically because I was hyped for the Seljuk Expansion campaign and yet it's the weakest part of this mod by far. :(

Currently the only version has the main 5 factions, no armies but the leaders, and nearly all settlements, including rebels, have no armies at all.

Hello, this mod doesn't seem to be launching for me and instead takes me to vanilla.
When I download the mod, the only launcher available right away is the Test launcher, and the M2TWEOP is only present if I go I extract from the 7-Zip OneDrive file. But where do I put all the contents of said OneDrive? I first made a separate folder named OneDrive to extract them to, then I tried just putting them in the main folder of the mod itself. I also tried running M2TWEOP as admin, but everything I do either crashes on load up or takes me to vanilla.

Could you please type up a tutorial on installing this mod?

I just reinstalled the mod because it's been months since I last played it and didn't want to misremember anything. I thought that, aside from the 1236 campaign, the 'Early Campaign' was the default vanilla 1080 start, but it's the 1200 start. Yes, in that case, Egypt would be the Ayyubids which were Sunni.

I was wondering if you'd be willing to make one small change since Egypt was ruled by the Fatimids at the campaign start date. Would you be willing to add a new religion into the game named "Shi'ism" and assign it to Egypt, then rename "Islam" for the other Muslim factions to "Sunnism" like how the Broken Crescent mod has?

My friend, this is the sole reason I would get Rome 1 Remastered. If you have the time and would like to, I can't imagine how many people will be SOOOOOO happy if you made this mod in R1R. Imagine being able to make this mod with literally as many factions and regions as you would like.

I hope you get to read this because if you chose to make this mod for R1R, it would essentially be THE "Total War: Asia". Yeah sure we have official titles with Japan and China, but what Total war mods will have those plus Tibet, Central Asia, Siberia, Iran, India, and (mainland and maritime) Southeast Asia all on one map? This Remastered mod would literally be the sickest **** ever and I'd even be willing to pay you for your work.

Rome Remastered has a 31 unit limit, the same as Medieval 2. Will you be making this mod with the 31 limit or will you be incorporating the *Total Conquest* mod that kicks the faction limit up to infinite? Imagine having factions like Brazil, Iran, Afghanistan, Chile, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, the Chinese warlord states, etc.

Just had a thought. Of course if you wanted to add another European faction or add in Qajar Persia or some Central Asian khanate, you could also give Algeria to the Ottomans; in which case you'd have an extra faction available to do with as you please.

I'm absolutely loving the mod so far! In later updates, will we be able to free roam around cities? I started two campaigns as Prussia and Afghanistan and I could only go to certain areas via the city's location menu. I couldn't walk around the city itself. Same with just "taking a walk around" wherever you are on the map.

Also please replace "Shahdom of Persia" with something like "Qajar Shahdom" please. Dynasty names are cooler than the generic name Persia.

Hello, I'm loving the mod but thought I'd mention that you have Tunisia and Algeria as independent but Morocco as Ottoman territory. The Ottomans controlled Tunisia and Algeria at this point, but Morocco halted their expansion and remained independent. To keep the same faction count and not mess up European borders, you could take the Tunis faction and make it a Morocco faction, giving Tunisia to the Ottomans, and have Algeria as an Ottoman client state. Absolutely loving the mod otherwise but that was a glaring error I thought I'd mention.

Hey just wanted to let the modding team know that when I started a campaign as the faction leader of Afghanistan, I started out with no inventory; no clothes, no weapons, no items of any kind. I went to my capital city, Kabul, to walk around and it looks like a European city with Europeans walking the streets. Idk if every non-Western nation is like that, but I figured I'd let you guys know that so the next update can have more realistic and immersive non-European campaigns.

Also rename Persia to Qajars!
