This is a very enjoyable game, its that simple and it is a simple game...in fact it is so simple it is E=Mc2 a.k.a Genius.

this is the type of game I play when all other games drive me mad. the graphics beautiful and the music induces an almost dream state Ambient joy. even though this game is relaxing there a challenge to be had.

all in all a very good game

Where to begin...

This game is absolutely amazing. I am one who has always found platformers a bit hit and miss; but this has to top the HIT list going from level to level trying to grab each piece of a puzzle completing the puzzles for each world.

the first big plus to this game for me is quite simple, if you can't work out how to get a piece of a puzzle then go to another level and try and work out them instead. unlike some game where you are stuck at a point then that is it you are stuck until you work it out in Braid if you can't figure it out then you go and find one you can and come back later. without this one simply concept this game would have been binned inside an hour (maybe even less).

the second big plus is the ingenious game play and twists in time manipulation making every puzzle a real challenge and with each world owning it's flavour of time manipulation brings very different approaches to the same problem and mastering each world realm of time brings you closer and closer to the grand finally.

to wrap up the graphics and sound are beautiful every level, every world has its own look and feel which really adds to the enjoyment of it all. when it coming to re-playability I'm a little unsure it is certainly easy to forget how you completed a level or got that one last piece of the puzzle but for me it is a little hard to judge as for all the time I have played I actually have yet to complete it. to be honest even though to ultimate goal is to complete the game; to do so would sadden me a bit as for such a beautiful game I would happily keep playing forever.

Hmmm... where to begin... I revisited this game last night after only having a quick dabble previously.
I must say it is a rather good game once you have got in to the thick of it. At first thought this game would be shoot, run, shoot, run, shoot, run etc, but as I advanced I found in a good number of situations I could choose whether or not to engaged the enemy and I had a varying level of strategic leeway in most scenarios. I also found the in-game sound a nice compliment to the game which made the game very enjoyable experience although some aspects of the for me grated a little.

Examples downer had to be running out of ammo every couple of bad guys (I don't know if this is just my bad aim or the intent of the game) which left me trying to take down the biggest of enemies with the starting infinite ammo pistol. The only other issue I came across was half way through I lost some sound effects and dialogue which required me to restart the game to get it back.

all in all a very good game.

Running on Ubuntu 11.10 64bit

I'm not that big of a FPS gamer but this game is actually quite fun to play with that satisfying ping when you hit your target and instagib for the win :D

A single player campaign or story would seriously do this game justice.

now we just got to fill the servers :P

it is an amazing game. I get a little dizzy spinning the world around but very good abstract puzzles to solve
