Great news guys loving the beta.

Quick question i can't find NS2 anywhere on steam (pre order or otherwise)

Clearly i still have access to the beta so i am assuming the NS2 will appear in my game list at some point (just missing the "beta" line) and also that the free copy of NS2 will go to my inventory is this correct?

Agree on the year end release...and on the damage wasn't too sure about the spread but thanks for helping me out with that.

Anyway they seem a receptive bunch so here's hoping for a change

finally picked this up today. Have to say your hard work really shows through...great game, friendly community. Can't wait for you guys to do a full release. Only two things i'd look at changing (and yes i'm aware i'll probs get yelled at, especially after checking the NS2 forums - by the community not the devs!)

1) Standard marine AR feels puny...maybe up the dmg and lower the accuracy
2) I think that tweaking the sound to make it sound more punchy might help a lot. ATM the weapons system feels like a bullet hose.

The ign preview was pretty accurate in their estimation. Keep up the great work guys i'm def a huge fan.

no worries if you ever need any textures doing or ref images, sounds or just someone to act as a researcher let me know. if i don't own it i've probs fired it.

awesome work...as an avid gun collector and modder myself you guys are doing a fine job. let me just point out though that i dont know if the image was flipped or not but the bolt handle and the whole action appears to be on the wrong side... Keep it up guys. (yes i'm aware i'm probs gunna get voted down for this but hey ho)

Well if you want to get really technical the casing deflector shouldn't be on there either and the handguard is more A2 shaped etc.... but i still think its an awesome piece of work and something no one will notice from the view point.Please understand my prior point wasn't to be seen as critical more that im saying people will nitpick.

If you are looking for an experienced texture artist with a history degree a bunch of modding experience and a large collection of military rifles from 1870s to present day drop me a pm. Would love to be involved in this project.

Someone from the FH team needs to pm me here asap in regards to material in your mod...i can explain fully elsewhere but it is imperative that this is done ASAP.

nice vid...but the intro takes up over half of it and then it just ends kinda suddenly without showing any real content. Anyway congrats keep up the work.

Looks great, a quick peice of advice don't promise to update weekly. It's nice but unless you have a dedicate PR guy and a lot of content to show it will lead to a couple of probs. Firstly it will take your attention away from the actual mod work that you need to do and secondly it will water down the consitency of your Press Releases which could (and i do mean could) lead to people losing interest. Keep up the amazing work i'll be watching.

sometimes things take a little longer than expected....the mod is still very much alive we are just making sure it is absolutely perfect and that we have the chutes, new weapons, new tanks and the new tank code in and all working fine.

is there any chance of having player shadows? just curious other than that it looks amazing

great work guys you are working towards something most mod teams can only dream of...im not even a trek fan but this is impressive stuff indeed no matter how small your core team gets press on people always come (we were down to as little as 3 at one point)
