I'm running the Desura client on Arch Linux 64 bit (KDE 4.7.1) and I wanted to try the World of Goo demo. The game installs and all but there is no sound. Plus the Desura client crashes on exit for me and trying to play trailers freezes the client completely and you have to kill it. |

Just putting this here for future reference to anyone wanting the answer to this! The problem lies in the bundled libvorbisfile, I don't know what's wrong with it, but it can't seem to load the ogg files! Run these commands to fix it (assuming desura is installed in /opt/desura): rm /opt/desura/common/world-of-goo/libs64/libvorbisfile.so.3 ln -s /usr/lib/libvorbisfile.so.3 /opt/desura/common/world-of-goo/libs64/libvorbisfile.so.3 And it should work. |
