Back for an amazing 14th time, welcome to the 2023 Indie of the Year Awards, a celebration of the year's finest indie games chosen by you and our team at IndieDB.
Last year saw the visceral WW1 indie Isonzo claim first place, followed closely by the simple but addictive Vampire Survivors in second and Turbo Overkill placing third. 2023 has reached its end, which means all 17,010 votes have been tallied and we can announce the 2023 Indie of the Year. This year saw many compelling entries but in the end it was Lethal Company that took out 1st place, followed closely by the popular Slay the Princess and Occupy Mars: The Game taking out 2nd and 3rd respectively.
