'DEFCON' Base Assault Mode | Locked | |

Here's the idea; It's basically the usual 'base assault/escort the bomber and blow your enemy's base into smitherness' mode, but at first both teams start at DEFCON 5; i.e least powerful plane/equipment (at specific min. timeframe limit), as the battle progresses, both team escalates their respective DEFCON level the more they rack kills, loses and damage on enemy's base. More advanced planes and equipment will be unlocked as the DEFCON level escalates with ultimately, DEFCON 1 will throw in superweapon and EOS series toys. In order not to make the winning team able to curbstomp easier, the losing team (i.e the team with more losses and damages sustained to its base) will raise its DEFCON level much quicker (realistic case-wise: think of act of desparation; the more desparate an army is, they'll authorize the use of more destructive weapon), thus they should be able to turn the tide of the battle. n.b: You select a plane along its SPW for each DEFCON level before the match starts. Once the match starts, you can't change your plane anymore, but you still able to replenish/change your SPW by simply RTB (read: landing, when it's been implemented heh). Edited by: Nergal01 |

Why wouldn't you be able to change your plane? In fact, what prevents playable bombers? |

For some *extra* tactical value, maybe? I know it'll induce a lot of rage should someone pick the wrong plane combination, but that's where the *tactical planning* part is.
