VALHALLA v1.0.0 expands the classic gameplay of Cube 2: Sauerbraten with 9 new gamemodes and 9 new mutators.

Gamemodes

VALHALLA includes 9 gamemodes:

• Deathmatch: your regular free for all dog-eat-dog slugfest;
• Team Deathmatch: two teams compete to kill each other;
• Capture the Flag: two teams compete to capture each other's flag;
• Elimination: two teams compete to eliminate each other and win rounds in order to score points;
• Last Man Standing: players battle against each other to determine the sole survivor of the round;
• Juggernaut: in a free-for-all, players must temporarily team up to defeat the mighty Juggernaut;
• Infection: in each round, someone will transform into a zombie. Will you survive the infection... or spread it to the others?
• Invasion: you have 3 lives. Survive the monster waves and dominate the map (currently offline only);
• Betrayal: in each round, a traitor lurks among us. Will you execute them or betray the others?

Of course, VALHALLA also features an intuitive built-in map editor with a dedicated gamemode: Edit mode. In this mode, you can share, edit existing maps or create new ones with multiple players simultaneously, online!

Mutators

Mutators are optional and combinable, changing the characteristics of each match.
Folkvang includes 9 mutators:

• Classic: control the map by collecting ammunition, power-ups and other useful items;
• Instagib: you spawn with unlimited railgun ammo and die instantly from one shot;
• Efficiency: players spawn with all the main weapons and a +100 health bonus;
• Tactics: players spawn with two random weapons and a +50 health bonus;
• Voosh: all players switch to the same random weapon every 20 seconds;
• Vampire: players must deal damage to regenerate health;
• Mayhem: headshots landed with hitscan weapons instantly kill players;
• No power-ups: power-up items are disabled;
• No items: all collectible items are disabled;

Maps, mutators and game modes can be easily accessed via the main menu or selected online using a voting system.
