Description
A cosmic turbulence caused the worlds of Toodee and Topdee to merge with each other. Switch between Toodee’s 2D platforming and Topdee’s top-down block pushing to solve mind melting puzzles, and bring back balance to the universe!
History
We are dietzribi- two brothers, Gonen and Ori, making games.
In the last few years, we made 9 games together for game jams (Ludum Dare).
In one of those game jams (Ludum Dare 41) the theme was "combine two incompatible genres"- and that made us think...
There are 2d platformers with tile based levels, and also top-down puzzle games with tile based levels. What if we used the same map for both of these genres?
That's how we came up with Toodee and Topdee, and in 3 days, we made a prototype for the game jam.
The jam version received great feedback, and we decided to turn it into our first commercial project!
