The Repopulation is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game in a science fiction setting built heavily upon social aspects, sandbox driven gameplay and in depth crafting systems by IF Studios. CURRENTLY IN ALPHA BUILDS. You begin your adventure as a second generation clone colonist on the planet of Rhyldan, with mankind on the verge of extinction trying to rebuild the human civilization. We are looking to deliver the sandbox/themepark hybrid experience that many players enjoyed in games like Ultima Online and Pre-NG Star Wars Galaxies and have a heavy focus on player created content, crafting, city building, and group play in an engaging and fun environment.
This game is going to be massive! I've been playing the Alpha, and the level of depth and playability is outstanding. I feel like this has elements of some of the best MMO's out there - such as Star Wars Galaxies and Planetside 2. In action mode, you even get a little bit of that Mass Effect feel - controlling your character in a sleek 3rd person FPS setting. Also, if you're a crafter, you definitely have to check out this game. I've never seen such care placed in a crafting system before, and the possibilities seem endless. I'm excited to see the community that builds in this game! Keep an eye out on The Repopulation, as it has a bright future!
Played the game before shut down. It had potential but bugs never got fixed.
Was skeptical with new company Idea Fabrik when they brought the game back after a year downtime. They have done hot patches to help make the game run better. The new update out and it is decent, excited for the news I read here.
Looking forward to the new updates over the next year. Lot of fun, needs more people. It is fun now, will be better with updates and more people.
Been playing this game since almost the very beginnings. Spend hours exploring this new world. Near to perfect game for me!
