Hi,

I just bought the game. Unfortunately, when I start it up, I get a massively flickering screen. I'm on Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon. My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 5700 and I'm using the fglrx drivers provided via the "additional drivers" settings. I also tried AMDs linux drivers, that is Catalyst 12.8 Proprietary. With those all I got was a black screen when I started the game. I could hear the music thouggh. So it must be a problem with the graphics. Maybe changing the resolution would help. But I can't seem to find a config file of the game to do that. I'd really appreciate help so I can actually play the game that I purchased.
Thanks in advance.

Just a note about resolution, in full screen mode the game seems to just run at whatever resolution your computer is already displaying at (i.e. your desktop resolution).

Got some bad graphics lag and sound cut offs with Xubuntu 12.10 (Running LXDE instead).

PC is a Samsung 700 Chronos series laptop, with a Radeon 6600M.

The few other 3D games I play in linux work fine.

Well played the gamethrough in windows instead. Thanks steam for letting me install games for the OS I want :)

Yes, how nice of Steam. Not like mean old Desura who haven't been supporting Linux forever. :P

Well excuse me! TBH, I hadn't even heard of desura, before I started searching for a solution to the graphics problem. Live and learn :)

Don't worry, my sarcasm wasn't meant in mean spirited way. ;)
I am fairly surprised to hear that you didn't know about Desura despite being a Linux gamer though.
