A short GameJam entry for the itch.io indie-horror-month gamejam. S.M.I.L.E is a retroShooter inspired by classic FPS games such Doom, Duke Nukem, Quake & Goldeneye. It draws inspiration for setting, ambience and mechanics from timeless classics such As MetalGearSolid, Thief, Hitman & SplinterCell series. 13 levels of retro fun! The current build is an early prototype - designed as an Entry for Indie Horror Jam. SMILE was built by a small team of three developers. Coding, ART & Primary Development were handled by Secresteyn. With contributions for Audio, Soundscapes, Music & Foley from A Happy Shark & Peter Hawkey. If you liked this project, please share it with others! Future patches and builds are planned. The next build will focus on increasing the quality of the levels, lighting and texture / materials as I was pushed for time to get things ready for the deadline! Other planned builds include: 1.
