The gaming world is long overdue for its first mermaid dark-fantasy, and Loreseeker Games is excited to bring it to life. This open-ocean RPG will put gamers in the fins of a playable mer-person with robust customization options. As you explore the ocean depths, you’ll uncover the forgotten history of Mer civilization and face off against an ancient evil lurking in the abyss. The combat system will feature ranged abilities, melee attacks, hydrokinesis, and evades, all in a third-person perspective.
Vibe:
- Ancient sea gods.
- An Abyssal prison, broken open by the wreck of a sinking ship.
- Sunlit waters threatened by the rising darkness, and rumors of an imprisoned Siren who’s voice may be the only thing that can stop it.
- Bioluminescent synthwave and Lovecraftian instrumental drone-metal.
The shallow reefs are designed to be a relaxing experience, but the deeper you go, the darker things become, both visually AND thematically.
