Savage 2: A Tortured Soul takes the best of the FPS, RTS, and RPG genres and blends them seamlessly into an extremely addictive and complex experience. Anyone who's seen the game in action knows that each match is full of possibilities for epic moments and amazing displays of skill and strategy. Take the reigns as your team's commander from an overhead RTS perspective with superior strategic insight -- or join them on the field from a mixed action RPG and FPS view with a wide array of powerful classes and carve your path to victory.
This video is a little teaser what you can expect while playing Savage2.
Saying this is like Battlefield is a bit pretentious.....
I didnt say that - we heard others say that is has certain similarities :)
Looks like a really good game to me
I hope you are no longer using Fedora Core 6...
Never did :) My cousin created that part for me - and that is what he came up with :) Arch linuX FTW
it is taking me forever to download
The download over desura is sadly not the fastest - you could install the normal client and binding the game afterwards to desura but i dont know if the updateing process works then.
when you say update with ing in it you're suppost to get rid of the e so its updating no offence and thats coming from me, im ten. i really like your game though and hope you make a 3rd savage when you do, if i still have any downlad space on my laptop XD ill be first to download.
Even back when I had a dual core computer I had problems with this game taking a long time to load and some times it lagged. Have you considered making a version with low resolution textures or significantly lower poly count so that it can appeal to those of us without high end PCs?
I actually just sold my computer before all these new updates started coming out.
There is a possibilitiy ingame to reduce the graphic-details and shaders etc- so it should have run decently on your PC. Be asured - we will still be here when you get another PC one day ;)
I've got a copy of the original Savage and loved the game. Particularly since it too was Linux compatible. Unfortunately I could never get any of my friends to join me :(
lol most of this games units or characters or heroes are taken from HoN like that fire dragon is MALPHAS from HoN and that big axe guy is Legionaire and theres is the giant i think hes behemoth I play HoN but left it for a while and this game reminds me of HoN Kinda
Actually this game is older than HoN.
what is suprising to me is that the first game hardley took any time to download but this one is takeing 3 to 4 hours to download
where is the BEEF
