Can't see anything but a crosshair Thread - Recruits

Well, Everything was loaded and ready to go, but everytime i click to play, it loads and I only get the crosshair and a few other things but the rest is all grey. Also I can hear all the sounds and I can move around and shoot.

What do you mean the rest is all grey? Are you stuck at the menu?

No, I mean it loads the game mode i want to play but it wont show anything other than the crosshairs.

Any chance you can upload a screenshot and link it?

I am getting only the crosshairs too.

Saving an in-game screenshot:

1. Hit the Print Screen button (Prt Scr) to save the on-screen image.

2. Open Windows Paint and click on "Edit" and then "Paste". You should now see the image you just captured on screen.

3. Click on "File" and select "Save As...". Click on "Desktop" to save the file to your desktop. Type in a name for the file and click "Save".

4. Go into your email and send the file (include the screenshot file as an attachment to your email).

Note: The Printscreen button (Prt Scr) should be somewhere to the right of the F12 key on your keyboard. Windows Paint is located in Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint

Hi guys I am getting the same issue just the cross hairs and some HUD info only.

We are aware of the Issue. We believe it is to be caused by certain Video Drivers. We will do our best to try and solve these Issues, but we are more or less at the Mercy of Epic since the game is developed with UDK.

If I could get your PC Specs that would be greatly appreciated!

I'm gettin' the same issue. Not terribly sure what my Computer's specs are, but I think I've got an AMD Radeon 8640 video card, and Intel i3 processors (2) as well as 430 gigs of hard disk space, and 4 gigs RAM.

@Parabellum, Does this occur in the Demo?

As an update, One guy was able to fix this issue by doing the folowing:

The fix for me was to go into NVIDIA Settings > Manage 3D Settings, and select recruits.exe from the first dropdown OR add it manually to the list. Mine was in c:\program files (x86)\desura\common\recruits\binaries\win32.

In the 2nd dropdown once you have recruits.exe selected, select the High-Performance NVIDIA Processor only.

I also personally disabled VSync.
