Hello everyone, we had some problems with the game page last week so there wasn't any update then but we're back now.
In this week's DevLog we are going to show you the moodboards that are going to be used as a base and inspiration for our games' art and overall look.
This is the game's interface moodboard. It will serve the purpose on helping making our own interface.
This is the art style moodboard. It will help us on developing the look and feel of the art of the game. Based on the games present there it can be possible to say that our game will be slightly dark and melancholic.
This is character moodboard. This is help us create an original main character. In our story, our MC is supposed to be some sort of plague doctor but since we're in an alternate timelime we decided to not be stuck on the typical and generic look of a plague doctor everyone knows and decided we'll do something slightly different.
And lastly we have the level design moodboard. This shows a very rough view of what the level and ambient will look like. This, of course, isn't final and even includes some of our own drawings. This moodboard is gonna help us decide on a more specific setting and overall places where the player will traverse through.
