Hello everyone!
Welcome to the third devlog for our game, "Lúcio".
In this article, we 'll show you our first mechanics and programming as well as the continuous evolution of art assets.
Creating the mechanics
We decided to make the mechanics simple and easy to use in order for players to be more comfortable exploring and experiencing the game. The player will be able to move and interact, along with the top-down part of the game, we also worked on cut-scenes and dialogue focused moments to strengthen our narrative.
Military camp assets
After focusing our attention on creating a first version of our in-game protagonist sprite and animation, we continued to work on our art assets. As you have seen above, we created a first layout of the military camp where most of the game will occur, afterwards we made the first versions of the character's dialogue sprites.
