Hello everyone!
Welcome to the second devlog for our game, "Lúcio".
We are here to share with you the progress of our upcoming project. This time we present our first concepts for this project.
Game Research and References
We started by researching some games that we could use as a base for our own, the ones that called to us were Resonance of the Ocean (Image Labo, 2022), Valiant Hearts: The Great War (Ubisoft, 2014), Bear and Breakfast, (Gummy Cat, 2022) and The Swords of Ditto: Mormo's Curse (Onebitbeyond, 2018).

We also had books as references, those being Deficientes das Forças Armadas (Eduardo Lourenço) and Os Silêncios da Guerra Colonial (Sara Primo Roque).
Moodboards and First Concepts
Since our story was based on a based on the experiences of the grandfather of one of our members we wanted to start by creating our main character and the environment. The idea was for our players to witness one stimuli that triggered the character's PTSD and then we would start experience the flashbacks, later that idea was scraped so implement on the middle of the final product.
