Continuing with updates about the world and the characters, today I will tell you about Karma the animated series, which later became the foundation for our game.4 years ago I was employed as flash designer at advertising agency. Mostly I’ve been busy with flash advertisements and apps for social media. Our boss figured we should exercise our creativity more, so one hour in our schedule was to be officially dedicated to our own creative projects. I decided I wanted to make animated cartoon, as I always enjoyed animation. The idea for the film was drawn from my astral travel experiences, as during that time my wife and I we actively participating in various bio-energetic trainings and similar practices. So the plan was to show the birth of a soul and its incarnation into the body. As the soul travels from body to body, the cause-and-effect logic is unveiled.
I wanted to show Karmic principles via some simple and obvious situations, to make the connection clear and transparent for everyone.
It just so happened that by December our company had won over seriously huge contract – while good for business, this left very little time for personal projects. In fact, not only we had to give up our “personal project” hour – we often had to work overtime to meet the demands of our new client. Once, I even got accidently locked in our office (it was 31 of December, an eve of major winter celebration!)Still, as I was greatly inspired by Zumbakamera videos, little by little things were getting done. It took almost 1,5 years to complete the first of the Karma movies, but we got there!
In our next update I will explain how animated series became a game and how overall concept changed with that.
this is great, I like much
