Garbage Day is officially coming to Steam for PC, Mac, Linux 2016.01.19
Garbage Day burst onto Steam Greenlight earlier this year and nailed approval in roughly 30 seconds, give or take a day or two. The open-world game set in a small town experiencing a time loop promises to let you do pretty much anything that pops into your head, from microwaving food to blowing up buildings, although technically you should be solving the mystery of why the day keeps looping endlessly, Beautiful Dreamer/Groundhog Day-style. Something went wrong in the town’s nuclear reactor but, seeing as you’ve got as many repeating days as you’d like to figure out what happened, there’s no particular rush.
The Greenlight trailer gives a better sense of moment to moment gameplay, but today’s teaser sets up the plot, gives a nice look at Garbage Day’s sense of humor, and reveals the release date. The low-poly high-interactivity world of Garbage Day lands on January 19, and whether you decide to mow down every house on the block or simply relax with a cup of coffee and some toast, its little town can be yours to play with as you’d like.
What a Dramatic Trailer! WhoooO! Nice JOB DUDE!
