This is a 2D Retro SIde Scrolling Platformer inspired by games such as Mega Man, Sonic, Shovel Knight, and Elysian Shadows. It has the action of Mega Man mixed with the fight style of Last AirBender. With the level speed of Sonic to keep those button smashing fingers moving. I put the rough draft in the Description area to give everyone a basic idea of where we are planning to take this project.
This is a video to show movement and little bit of gameplay aspect. All the art used in the video is placeholder art(Mega Man, Brackeys). This art will not be in the final project as per the fact i do not own it nor do I have permission to use it for a way of profit. It is only being used as placholder to show the programming aspect of the controls and engine. I know the video is some what dark but we were playing around with some lighting and shading ideas to be used in the final product.
