Bee Witched file

Witch Hazel lives in her magic castle by the shores of Loch Ness
Today her spells got out of control
Now she needs to destroy all the creatures she accidentally created
So, pilot that broomstick and cast your star spells to restore order!
Avoid the deadly fireballs
Don't get stung too many times by the swarm of killer bees (check the Sting-o-Meter for damage)
Beware of the hungry Loch Ness Monster
And the Venus Witch Traps

Use arrow keys to move, and F to fire stars
Or use a joystick / gamepad if you have one (most of the main buttons should fire stars)

Press S to start the game, or your controller start button

To install:

Create a directory somewhere to install and run the game from, e.g. somewhere like /home/mygames/bee-witched
Extract everything in the bee-witched.tar archive file into this directory
cd into the directory from the command line and run the game using the command ./bee-witched
(change the file permission so it is executable if it complains, which it shouldn't)

Everything necessary to run the game is contained in bee-witched.tar
