Zapling Studios is a New York based team that strives to create awesome games. Founded in 2014, their projects are a labor of love. Gameplay is their top priority. This ideal is the basis on which Zapling Studios was founded. They are firm believers in games having solid controls, unique gameplay and memorable moments. The team started as a group of friends who each brought their skills and enthusiasm to the table. As lifelong gamers they have always dreamed of making their own games. The team noticed that the Beat ‘em up genre was lacking in quality games. The available games either had big buttons taking up the screen for attacks or gameplay too slow for their tastes. After a few prototypes, development began on their first project, Justice Royale; a fast paced Beat ‘em up with controls made for mobile, emphasizing the usage of gestures for controls and offering fast paced gameplay.
