Yellow Lab Games is a South African indie game development studio situated in the heart of Cape Town. We're a team of 7 who are passionately working on our first game, called Metavoidal. The studio was born after a member of the team brought forward a game they were developing as a side project, which had gained a bit of attention, and we decided it's something worth pursuing and making a reality! The inspiration for the name 'Yellow Lab' came from the much loved member of our extended four-legged team, a golden haired Labrador called Charlie. We leaned even more towards the name because it translates into being a space of experimentation. Which, along with the same positive, wholesome and fun energy that Yellow Labs have, is what our team strives to imbue in our work. Although, Metavoidal might just have an extra pentagram or two...
