Many people have asked for a trailer of the game, so I've put something a little something together. I HIGHLY encourage you just to go and play the game without watching the trailer, but if you need to know a little something, here it is. This trailer really just conveys the tone of the game, a sense of the feeling you might get playing it.
Also, I have an appeal: if you enjoyed playing this game, please pass it on! We're getting great response, but without a little press, it may not ever reach an audience bigger than ModDB. If the game moved or struck you in a particular way, I ask that you send it along to Kotaku, RockPaperShotgun, Destructoid, Indiegames Blog, or any outlet you think may like it. I don't want to charge anyone for this game, I just want it to reach every person who may see something really meaningful for them in it. Thank you to everyone who has supported this game in the last few days, the response has been fantastic and I could not possibly be more grateful for all of your kind words.
Might help if you embed he video in this post. Since those who aren't subscribed will have to look for it ;) Moddb.com Also helps for archiving purposes.
Well, Notch tweeted the mod. That's some publicity right there.
Had a feeling that someone was going to soon do something along these lines. Just went through all the choices...
I bow.
Never heard of the mod. Like whatever voice actor you got for that trailer though.
Since you did a classic job I decided to help get the word out. I put it on my twiiter, emailed the owner of a couple gaming sites and few devs who I help promote for since they love mods. Keep up the good work!
This was the review I left after rating this mod 10/10:
"The best mod I'd ever played and it has a legitimate claim to being called the one of the best games I've ever played given its cohesiveness and actually having a worthwhile message to explore, which it does expertly. I've played through it well over 10 times back-to-back already but more telling than that is that I feel like I'd want to go back to it and play in the future to explore those concepts again and better understand what's being presented - there's some deep things in there particularly for anyone interested in game design that I want to chew over and think about more."
Like, seriously this perhaps deserves being put in a museum. I think this could be a really good way to introduce non-gaming people to what games are and can be, all in a really approachable way.
The VA is simply stunning. Downloading.
