2D Animator

Mystic Games is seeking a 2D Animator to join our creative team in crafting current and upcoming visual elements for our game Morphing. As a 2D Animator, you will work closely with our Lead Animator to bring characters and environments from our universe to life. Your skillset should include 2D character and object animation, sprite sheet creation, frame-by-frame animation, and ideally some Unity knowledge.

Mystic Games is a chill and welcoming team where aspiring game developers can work together on projects filled with passion. Our goal is to help others improve their skills by collaborating with other people, so that everyone can grow and learn together. Our dearest wish is to make games and experiences that our players will remember forever. Our work schedule is very lax since we're all volunteers. Everyone has their own pace, so we try to do meetings every now and then to check our progress. There are no deadlines to the project, so we rely on the goodwill of our team members – that's why trusting each other is so important to us.

Your Missions

• Animate basic character movements
• Animate creature movements and attacks
• Animate environmental assets and decorations
• Assist our main animator with lineart and coloring

What We're Looking For

• You must be 18 or older
• You have a strong interest in video games
• You have a good understanding of 2D animation principles
• You have good communication skills and can provide relevant feedback
• You can adapt to changing priorities and work effectively when needed
• You enjoy teamwork and are able to work from remote
