Hello, a lot has happened to "Toll of the Dead" this past week, and the biggest and most important thing that happened to it was the change that we made to the main quest and the story. Before, before, players would play as a soldier who had lost his friend in the midst of a war, and then they would go try to find them.
This process of searching for the soldier's friend would happen with dialogues from NPCS, who would give you clues, and these clues were directly linked to some mechanics within the game.
As I said before, we changed the story; the main theme still remains, which is showing how brutal war can be, and we will still follow a similar story to the previous one, but the biggest difference now is that the soldier's friend is alive, and we have as an objective the "main quest" look for supplies that can help the soldier's friend.
The mechanics for going about looking for these supplies are still the same; dialogue with NPCs who can give you clues of what to look, where too look, puzzles will also be a major mechanic.
With the changes we made, we also had to do some new art that will be part of the gameplay. Here it is:
Water flask
Medic kit
Military supply box
Rocks.
