Against the backdrop of the darkness of war, an anguished soldier embarks on a journey help his injured war buddy. As he walks through the battlefield in the trenches, marked by the sound of agonizing bells ringing, the soldier discovers things beyond imagination. He is confronted with the stories and traumas of other comrades, until he can help his friend.
