Soccer Heroes emulates the classic soccer game in a different way. It is based on cut scenes where you see the player you on the field and when you want (or an opponent blocks the way) to decide what you want to do, whether to pass, dribble or shoot on goal, and a scene will show whether you succeed or not, depending on the player's skill. In Soccer Heroes, as in real football, everything is not attack. You also have to know how to defend and choose the best defensive option at any time to keeo away the ball from your goal. When an opposing player shoots on goal the goalkeeper will have options to clear or catch the ball. The skills of the players are: attack, defense, passing, dribbling and speed, and all can be improved as you progress in the game, thus forming a championship team.
