With the launch of Revelade Revolution only a few weeks away we are very happy to announce we now have an IRC chat room as well as an auto updater for the game itself. As well as many other updates and bug fixes.
Auto updater - In order to take advantage of the auto updater and the ability to play on line you MUST go and download the latest version of our game on sourceforge.net With this version of the game whenever you connect to the master server it will look for a game update and download and install it for you automatically no longer will you have to keep re-downloading the game in order to play.
IRC chat - We now have a built in IRC chat in game that you can use, you can also access it on our website at Theintercoolergames.com or by using your favorite IRC program and going to IRC.Gamesurge.net #reveladerevolution
Bug fixes - We have fixed many small bugs but many large ones as well. Here is a list of some of the bugs fixed in this update.
- Some times when you click customize the game crashes because of it, what I found is the class defualts to something that isnt even a class.
- Feature /Getmap is broken
- Motion Blur - Not working
- Blood screen / Death screen - Gets stuck on longer then death, once you spawn it remains for another 3-6 seconds
- Third person view - From command /third person or F9
- The radar should be on for all team play game types, it should also show all flags,bases, ammo and armor drops as well.
- Bots on-line - They don't work, the game just crashes.
Guild Recruitment - We now have a section on our site for guilds to recruit new members, we will soon be linking all RR clans on our main page so people can easily see who's playing our game.
