Descend into continental Europe where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech’s failed experiment has quickly spread and gained unstoppable momentum, essentially paralyzing the European Union. Just one month after the conclusion of the events in the original KILLING FLOOR, the specimen clones are everywhere and civilization is in disarray; communications have failed, governments have collapsed, and military forces have been systematically eradicated. The people of Europe know survival and self-preservation too well and lucky survivors have gone into hiding. Not all have given up hope though... A group of civilians and mercenaries have banded together, paid for by Horzine, to combat the outbreak and established privately funded operation bases across Europe. Upon tracking specimen clone outbreaks, players will descend into zed-laden hot zones and exterminate them.

I voted, A+ for effort- (and because I didn't know how to vote button works). I appreciate this one, a lot of work and definitely in the "large" map category.
However, it has performance issues on low-to-mid-range hardware, which should be easy but time consuming to fix. It's important to keep the entire audience in mind. Right now, I use the stock map Paris as my benchmark. Good luck! I'll definitely be willing to drop a few settings to enjoy this map.
drop my fps :P
Ok took the feedback on board. Have tried to streamline it for the lower end PCs but not sure how successful I was so let me know if theres still problems. In addition I have tweaked the level so it should be easier to hold up and I added some bling for giggles. Have fun :)
Version 3 just uploaded, fixed an exploit outside and polished the map up a bit. Also elaborated on the description and provided a few more screenshots. Enjoy.
I usually run the game at medium/high at around 60-70fps, but I can only get 15-25 on this map on low settings.
It looks good from what I can tell but I can't really play on it much unfortunately.
I'm assuming it might have to do with the FX, fog and all that. I'm not to sure how to go about optimizing that though or I would lend some advice, I don't usually toy with fog and the likes very often in my maps.
OK cheers for the feedback, appears I will have to get rid of the fog then as it causing so many problems.
Have updated it with no fog (sad face). However the old version with the fog is still available here should anyone care.

If there's still performance issues lemme know and I'll look into it, when I can tear myself off fallout 4.
Hey Memus!
So I looked at your map in the SDK, and I know what your FPS problem is.
Right now, your map is missing a culling volume. A culling volume allows your map to load only what the player can see, and not the whole map at once.
You also do have a lot of seemingly unnecessary nodes, don't think that weighs too much on performance though, heh.
As an example, you can download my "KF-StygianWoods" map to see what I mean by culling. In that map I have tons of fog and foliage along with trees, and it runs 60 FPS. Look for the other volume around the "TWOutdoorLightingVolume." to find it and it's settings. Play around with the settings in your own map.
I hope my information helps you and good luck to you in the contest! (:
Thankyou! I will look into it as soon as real life (and fallout4) permits.
The map is still unfinished unfortunately. It does look great for the most part, the layout and design and size is all good, lots of little details and props, it's a graveyard/cemetery so it's a great theme and suited to Killing Floor, but the blue and white pattern is still visible right throughout most of the map. If this can be textured, it would be a great map.
