Hacker Evolution Duality starts in the early days of Brian Spencer when he was nothing more than a brilliant programmer. It than fast forwards to the future, where he has to stop an Artificial Intelligence he has created, unknowingly and take back control of a giant company he once used to own. You have to hack into computers using various tools, from a basic firewall cracker, to sophisticated voice print authentication systems. Steal money to finance your objectives, buy hardware upgrades or bribe off other hackers that are present in the game. Go as far as bypassing complex security systems to make your way into buildings and steal data. Frame people or even murder them using ingenious traps. You are not alone in the game. Other hackers controlled by a complex artificial intelligence, will stop at nothing to destroy you. The game features a single player mode where you follow the game's story and an open world mode, where you play a death match against other hackers.

It seems very "point and click". When you use the DoS and the Voiceprint the bars adjust themselves (you just move them to one side and then they locked). There's barely an input from the player, it seems very automated. However, I am going to give it the benefit of the doubt since it's still in beta. Don't take me wrong, I really think this game has potential.
@rizom: The bars adjusting themselves is an option, to aid playing the game on tablets (and iPads soon). The feature can be disabled (and will be) in the final release.
It really seems like you're only clicking some buttons in a predefined order. Where's the console from the past two games? That was the cool stuff! I'm afraid the game will be extremely boring without it...
The console is till present, but most of the new features were impossible to replicate in the console.
Such games are never more than a bunch of minigames. Looks interesting though.
