Long time we have not written anything for you and for those who wonder what happened, here's an explanation ...
We wanted to make Enamel, using only our limited resources. For us, that stage of our activity was mainly the stage of intense learning, polishing our skills and establishing our own style. It happened so that when we were working on Enamel, we had a new and irresistible idea. So we began to work on both projects simultaneously, even though we have never announced it for you.
However, it was too difficult for us. Two projects at the same time weaken us mentally and financially. Finally, we decided that the first game we want to finish is The Last Cargo. This is who we are - we don’t enforce anything.
We have also started Indiegogo campaign, and as difficult as it is for us, we must state that failure on Indiegogo will mean not only the end of The Last Cargo, but also the end of our business as well. We have been postponing this campaign for a long time, but unfortunately our financial situation has now become critical.
Even if the campaign will fail, we will try to finish Enamel with respect to all the people who bought our game - but it may take some time. And if Indiegogo will be successful, then after we finish The Last Cargo, we go back and finish Enamel. With a lot of technical changes that we have learned now.
Seem like you killed yourselves with this move, RIP Enamel..
well, good luck gents.. I was really looking forward to Enamel, and I sure hope a finished polished version sees the light of day sometime. I'll be crossing my fingers for you, thats for sure..
The last cargo looks appealing to me as well, but I can't say I'm thrilled by the unexpected delay. Not to mention the possibility that neither game will ever truly be finished, since BOTH show so much promise.
Good luck I guess.
I love supporting independent game developers. Sometimes that works out and sometimes it doesn't. I look forward to still playing Enamel someday and will go look at The Last Cargo too. Don't give up!
Enamel should have been you're main project.
I don't speak for others but I just feel you may have more buyers on Enamel than The Last Cargo (looks good by the way).
TLC I only just knew about in November.
In the end it up to you guys which to bring out first but maybe make a poll or something next time, best to listen to those wallets :D
I guess I'm a bit confused, is Enamel being delayed or has it been canceled?
This is very sad new, I will not shout something "But peoples paid money" or something, but its really sad to see how such unusual and promising project shutting down.
OFC it wasn't smart move to work on two projects at same time while you team had minimum of power to work on at least one, but its done already.
Hope for best.
