Here is a reupload of the infamous original oblivion lost 2010 mod with arsenal overhaul by Kyuzo84. This has to be my favorite stalker soc mod growing up but sadly it disappeared off the internet over a decade ago. I have been searching for this version for a while now and finally have not only found the mod, but found the latest version as well. Good Hunting Stalkers.
This includes alternative texture packs and a set of tools for the 3gb ram alteration. If there are any issues or questions you have don't hesitate to dm me or post a comment below and I will respond.
I recommend playing SOC from GOG website since it is less buggy than the steam version. You need to downgrade SOC to at least the 1.0005 patch and delete the gamedata.dbd file in the main folder. The US downgrade patch is included in the File. Follow the Instructions below.
[When your screen goes blank during X-18 cutscene. Follow the steps here:]
1. Open console ( ' )
2. type:
save x
3. type:
load x
IMPORTANT: Make sure you do not replace the 1.0005 XR_3DA.exe bin patch file with OL2010 bin version. Just delete the OL2010 XR_3DA.exe file when unpacking the files. After installing the OL2010 files replace them all with the 1.0005 patch files.
Downgrading Instructions from "Issar077":
1. Press win key + R and type "Regedit" hit ok.
2. Navigate to Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GSC Game World\STALKER-SHOC (For 64-Bit
systems, 32-Bit seems to be missing the Wow6432Node subfolder, but haven't tested this)
3.Change the following values by right clicking on the heading and selecting modify, then clicking OK
(See Screens)
- InstallLang = en
(Is case sensitive! The patches install language)
- InstallVers= 1.0004
(This tricks the patch into thinking you have v1.0004 installed)
- InstallSource = stk-for-pack-noprot-efis
(This will make sure that the installer will recognize a US version of the game which will allow you to install the patch)
Close the window.
(All settings are saved on exit)
Now you should be able to install the US v1.0005 patch .
Note: You will get a runtime error about not being able to find the read me. Just ignore it ;)
However it will install under
C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl
(At least that is what happened on my computer).
Therefore you need to copy the files manually from that patch installation directory to the GoG Install directory.
You will also need to delete the following files from the GoG Install directory based on which patch you just downgraded to.
For patch v1.0005 delete gamedata.dbd (this is installed by v1.0006)
For patch v1.0004 delete gamedata.dbb, gamedata.dbc (these are added by v1.0005)
If done correctly your game will now be patched to V1.0005 and you can install all those awesome mods :)
For downgrading to v1.0004. Just replace
- InstallVers= 1.0004
with
- InstallVers= 1.0003
and use the v1.0004 US patch.
Last of all go to control panel - programs and features and uninstall the patch.
(you don't need it installed after copying the files to the GOG game directory.)

Yes you need to downgrade to at least 1.0005. I honestly should prob put the US patch in the file too.

So do i just copy everything from the OL201ov1.02.3 folder into the SOC folder? It's already patched to 1000.5 and I changed the false to true in the fsgame file.
You want to run the OL10 - Full.part01.exe file to unpack the gamedata folder to whichever location you choose, then put the extracted gamedata folder in the SOC folder.
