IONIZATION Video Game Intro Demo Version 1.0 file

"Ionization" is a working-in-progress 3D first–person action game. The main idea originated in 2011,
being inspired by the Half-Life series, the modification "Paranoia" and other creations
of the BuZZeR level designer. The project is based on the FWGS engine in conjunction with PrimeXT SDK.
The demo version is now freely available, it is an opening part of the storyline, which takes
about 15 minutes to complete. This build performs an introductory function and it does not reflect
the final quality of the project.

You can help with one-time payments, which will primarily go towards upgrading the workspace,
it will undoubtedly bring the release of the project closer. In the future, it is planned
to introduce monthly subscriptions with access to an exclusive development blog.

According to the game plot, you have to enter the role of a special service agent,
repel the attack of unknown forces and protect humanity from a deadly threat.

The planned release date is 2025.

– The original graphic style, referring to the golden era of PC gaming in the late 1990s - early 2000s,
using updated technology, reliably and detail recreated environment
– A diverse immersive gameplay that combines both classic hurricane action and meditative exploration
of open locations and inside interiors in search of secrets and riddles
– An exciting story with elements of various genres: from thriller and horror to action and science fiction

The project is non-commercial and is distributed freely, developed in free time by one person.
For this reason, it now has a significant amount of borrowed content, which for the most part will be
replaced or radically redesigned by the end of the work.

STARTING THE GAME:
1. Unzip the archive into a convenient directory
2. Run the IONIZATION.bat

For a better experience and to avoid obvious bugs - do not interact with the NPC by pressing E and do not use save/load.
For testing purposes, you can run IONIZATION.bat with the -dev and -console parameters and use standard Half-Life commands.
Do not use the "New Game" menu item, there are problems with collision and lighting of static props.
The framerate is stable at 100+ with the i5-3450 and GTX 1060 configurations, there are occasional drawdowns from dynamic
light sources, their amount is intentionally limited in open spaces; the render code will also be further optimized by the release.

"Ионизация" – это разрабатываемый 3D-action от первого лица, идея которого зародилась в 2011-ом году,
будучи вдохновленной играми серий Half-Life, а также модификацией Paranoia и другими творениями
дизайнера уровней BuZZeR. Проект базируется на движке FWGS в связке c PrimeXT SDK.
В настоящее время в свободный доступ выпущена демо-версия, представляющая собой вводную часть сюжетной
кампании длительностью прохождения около 15 минут. Данная сборка выполняет ознакомительную функцию
и не отражает финального качества проекта.

с применением обновленных технологий, достоверно и детально воссозданного окружения;

так медитативное исследование открытых локаций и внутренних интерьеров в поисках секретов и головоломок.
- Захватывающий сюжет с элементами различных жанров: от триллера и хоррора до фантастики и боевика.

ЗАПУСК ИГРЫ:
1. Распакуйте архив в удобную директорию
2. Запустите файл IONIZATION.bat

Для лучшего впечатления и недопущения явных багов не взаимодействуйте с NPC нажатием E и не используйте сохранение/загрузку.
В целях тестирования возможен запуск IONIZATION.bat с параметрами -dev и -console и использовать стандартные команды Half-Life.
Не используйте пункт меню "Новая игра", возникают проблемы с коллизией и освещением статичных пропов.
При конфигурации i5-3450 и GTX 1060 фреймрейт стабилен на уровне 100+, изредка бывают просадки от динамических источников света,
их количество намеренно ограничено на открытых пространствах; к релизу код рендера также будет дополнительно оптимизирован.
