Presents....
A Narbacular Drop Pack....
Of Mind-boggling expertise....
from an organized editor....
oh.. ok, right, so it's not brilliant.
But still, a lot of effort went into KdaproPak
but, hah, now you guys have got to play it ^^
By the way, The main theme is about legend of Zelda,
whether you once upon a time played that game or not
it doesn't matter, as long as you think my levels are good ^^
Anyway, onto what the readme file is all about!

(I) Introduction (I)
This will be my first released KdaproPak of Narbacular Drop Levels, 6 of them! plus
a Master Challenge that only masters can try - that's everyone by the way because you're
all great!! *she says, hoping that cajoling her players will win her extra points*
Before this there were a few other levels which i was planning to release before i went away
(I worked on this through my ten days of vacation) but when i looked at the 5 levels, I
realized they were of poor quality and belonged in the Recycle Bin; so you can be rest
assured that those files are on vacation too - little do they know they haven't got a return
ticket either - heh heh heh...oops, left the point again haven't I?
Anyway If you're stuck on the levels then consult the text file related to that section, and
if you want to read up on this Master Challenge, check that text file out too, and it's very
important you extract the levels to the right places aswell, since it's in the Narbacular Drop/
Levels/Kdapro directory, and if you find any bugs, glitches or broken links please tell me! thanks!
on my thread, preferrably...

(II) Storyline (II)
THE LEGEND OF CELLDAR
"There once was a little girl who grew up to be what most young girls would one day
wish to become; a Princess, no ordinary princess she was, and the only reason she
was still at this status at the age of 12, was because of a strange ability to cast
Portals onto blue and magenta surfaces, allowing what appeared to be interlinked
doorways to each other. However, the citizens of Haycool didn't think highly of this
power and among themselves decided it was wizardcraft and rose up upon the King and
Queen. The King, facing no kingdom to command gave in to the fundamentalists and
unwillingly cast his daughter as a sacrifice through a magical portal, into the deep
reaches of Space, hoping that she would survive this new world. The girl, unknowing
to the plot set against her couldn't understand when her father almost forcefully
persuaded her to enter the magical portal; and taking one last glance at Haycool,
she jumped through the portal onto a strange land..."
This was an idea to try out a space idea I had; originally you landed near a
spaceship, but an outer-galatical spacestation set on a martian atmosphere was
better. And please note, this was written before the storysequence was written
so that sequence will be different due to improvement ^^

(III) Versions (III)
Version 1
________________________________________________
(IV) Levels (IV)
Level 1:
"I don't think we're in Haycool anymore"
This level was a small introduction to the different surfaces, included the all-important
'Space' background which was easy to do, yet had to be maximized by 5 just to see!
Thank Gold for colourizer on Paint Shop Pro; otherwise i'd have to have worked with the
difference being the dark metal and light, and that would have caused problems!
Level 2:
"Dont fall in lava"
This Level is an alternative to coconutboy's crate expectations which more based on speed
rather then accuracy, however, my own is based on accuracy more then speed ^^ After a few
tries it's easier to do, especially if you use a small crate to find your bearings then a
huge crate to press the switch. Took ages to put together though - Damn triggers >.<
Level 3:
"What a Per-lava"
This Level was fun, I was quite drunk too and was surprised I actually managed to finish it.
Dosed up on Vodka, I abandoned my idea of a labyrinth and decided to leave that shortscale
for level 6 (or 5 if i do delete my pinball reinactment.)
Level 4:
XXXXX
CANCELLED
Level 5:
"That's Just Crate"
A Simple Level really, a small maze as layed out by Level 4, The annoying part is moving the crate
through the long bit - small relief for those on the master challenge though; the crate you're moving
through can be used to activate that switch - so masters don't have to trail two crates through!
Level 6:
"The Final Challenge"
I wanted to have fun, and when i thought of this that was exactly what i had ^^
Level 7:
"The End?"
The Last Level - And one of the hardest too - but thats due to the fact only the master quest can
open the door!

(V) Me!! (V)
I'm Kdapro, or more formally, Kdaprofessional,
Which stands for Kate Adamson Professional - the D doesn't match
but thats a long story which isn't worth explaining ^^
You can contact me through kdaprofessional@hotmail.co.uk surprisingly.
I like to spend my time editing and making stuff (on the computer lol)
by the way, could someone tell me what 'sleep' is?
I think it's the mystery of life, but maybe Scientists have solved it by now,
because someone told me it's what happens when you're 'tired' and you lie down
and close your eyes; well, i've tried that and nothing happens, any tips?

(vI) Development Diary (VI)
>--Friday 11th August '06
Wrote up this document after testing space texture. Story wrote, and thinking up more
witty puns for Zelda fans, or should I say Celldar? I had an idea to call a cavern level
"Breath Fountain" after "Death Mountain" but i'm yet to decide (Sawher's lowcrane for
Zora's domain too!) By the way, My Pronoucation of Hyrule was 'Hey-rule', I know some people
pronouce it 'Hi-rule' so for those people, ITS TOO LATE. Ok? good. Now to plan the passage
for Level 1...
>--Saturday 12th August '06
Finished Level 1 completly now, It is possible to yo-yo the last bit without ever needing to
get onto the chainlink platform; Originally i mistook the exit facing the other way and would
have incoperated the 'step' tactic to the next level, which would have let me put lava in to
prevent 'cheating' but i thought it cruel to make players redo level 1 if they make a mistake.
>--Sunday 13th August '06
Finished Level 2, it is small but took as long as Level 1 took me to do >.< I need to explore
further into it, because after a few tries the button system seems to fall out of place, not
to mention the fact that half the crates disappear after a few tries >.< Anyway, while writing
this I had an idea for Level 5 (couldn't put another small puzzle next to Level 2 could I?)
>--Monday 14th August '06
I made start on the pinball type level, It went well but i encountered endless
problems, th switches weren't behaving (didn't like the Only Once tab), the boulder was too
unpredictable to be launched and there was nothing to stop the player being used to launch with.
Not to mention the chainlink i had to use to cover it with had to be enlarged and it was ridiculous
at 10x. I'm still decided whether to use this level or not, but if I do, I'll probably put the end
In the machine rather then start in the machine. level 3 however is coming on well, and i'm having
fun with the lava shafts ^^ Was going to make it a full out l'ava'rinth (hehe) but that might come in
handy for a later level.
>--Tuesday 15th August '06
I Finished Level 3, well, i say finished, but i just need to stick the end trigger in, hehe...
anyway, level 4 is in production, and i've an idea thought up for level 5! and if my excellent
'lava-stair' experiment works, I may have a beakthrough to annouce! Surfing Upwards! of course, this
does defeat the object of the name for Level 5, but thats the irony see? =p Now to test my theorm.
-Edit, Well that sucks - the Turtle goes through the steps no matter the step size! And when you surf
off the edge of a lava 'plate' you drop vertically leaving a 30% chance to catch yourself on the lava
you fell from; time to get on with Level 4 and think up solutions...
>--Wednesday 16th August '06
Ok, just starting the puzzle for Level 4, had some fun putting a small secret passage in, where you miss
the entire first part! (I'll add a hint to find it in the Level guide.)
The Puzzle had to have some reworking about it, and during testing I managed to find the fake wall, and one-way
wall parts, Personally i think a lot can be done with the one-way walls, especially to prevent back-tracking.
And I may very well use it in the giant Mine level i wanted to do. Well my maze originally was a Turtle, a crate
and a button all under lava and you had to direct the turtle from above; I scrapped this idea at the thought of
the turtle getting stuck and generally not doing what you wanted it too; So then i came with two new ideas, one:
Invisible walls or fake walls? You better get to Level 4 to see...
P.S, My Secret passage was going to link to a secret level, but unfortunately, theres nothing to stop you from
opening that level, even if i make the respawn point inside a box (only able to play if you enter from level 4) but
then you can just rework a premade level to end on the secret level - SO STUFF IT!
>--Thursday 17th August '06
Finished Level 4 and decided, since the puzzle is so big, to move it onto Level 5; I tried a new idea which was
to make the walls of the maze portable, and to set the maze vertically, (so you'd have to transport the crate upwards)
but I soon had to abandon the idea after being unable to prevent falling out the other side of the wall, and that the
maze was too ridiously large to follow. So now its Horizontal again, and you're directing A turtle around it, and then
using crates to move one crate around airbourne platforms by using the ID and launching them at it; Two player cheats I
can counter too; Just try falling onto the Turtle or launching yourself onto the airbourne platforms.. heheheheh...
(Note, the reason it's possible to fall into the maze is because the crate you're moving can fall back into the lava maze)
>--Friday 18th August '06
Level 5 i've decided to give a rest for a while, i've still got to plan the overheard maze; Meanwhile i've been making plans
for the master challenge and also made modifications to level 3 to make a copy thats a lot easier (i.e no lava, but a drop)
The master challenge, features replacing the first and last level with maps that i've made modifications to in order to place
a crate on level 1, and an end switch on the final level - after all the levels are done i will also have to go back to each
level is not too hard to get the crate through. Also started work on the final Level after my idea of a giant robot!
>--Saturday 19th August '06
Level 5 complete now, however, it took a few failed attempts to get it finished - I scrapped the ideas of the turtle pushing the
box (If the box was big, it would get stuck on the Turtle, if it was small the turtle would get stuck on it; and the turtle set
the switch off anyway >.<) and now you actually have to go through the maze. I also tried another pinball-type level, but after the
first glitch I scrapped it. now i've just got to do level 6, 7 and 8.. phew...
>--Sunday 20th August '06
The day of my return at last - phew, anyway, before i go i've made some major changes, such as cutting out the mine level completly,
deciding on a different end level and cut the robot off; Returned the duration to 7 levels again and liked the mine idea so much that
thats what the next pak will be based on! if i manage to finish! ^^ Now, my idea of Level 6 was a meltdown, just got to make it
slow enough to get that all-important crate through, unless i make an imprentrable barrier of lava and... yes....
>--Monday 21st August '06
COMPLETE!! Well, if you call 6 levels complete ^^
Just need to get two of my close friends to alpha test - get those changes in place and put it online!!
then i can get on with my next pack!
>--Thursday 24th August '06
It's been a busy week, mainly because i've been trying to fix Narbacular Drop - it's been playing up, it's ok now though,
and i can now get back on track; Need one more person to alpha test and i can make the final changes and upload it.
>--Friday 25th August '06
Let's just say I made friend's with Steve, i think hes given up his whole day for me >.< bless him; anyway, I used him as my
last alpha tester and now i'm making the last changes to the levels. Seems ages since i started...
>--Saturday 26th August '06
15 days later and I've finished. I've updated Level 3 to make it the hardest again - made the maze on level 5 harder and made
level 6 adaptable to take the crate though - Level 4 is officially out and bug test is complete - I even remmbered to fix the wall
on level 3 which had been broken since i made that level! Now all i have to do is wait for you tell me i'm an angel ^^
Ah well, it's 15 minutes until i can release this (it's 12:44) so i better put thios .txt file in, double check everything texture-
wise and compile!
