We're hoping to help all mobile games in a small way - good or bad please share your thoughts.

Honestly I'm more interested in terms of gettting older games to run on latest Android 4.x.x systems and the potential of having emulators like PCSX2/1 & Dolphin running stable on Tablets.

We'll see how this mobile gaming scene will "arise" on the market.

Especially how (according to my research) about 70% of the already release games are rather cheap MMO turn-based RTS games which could have been easily made on PC via Flash. I also noticed some third-person and first-peron shooter games sadly based on done-to-death zombie gameplay. The limitations of the games having only touchscreen controls could also be a "hindrance" to some.

Maybe in a couple of years the mobile gaming will gain a "foothold" in the world of computer entertainment. After all, it isn't limited to only one device as it is with console & PC gaming.

We'll see.

I'm glad to hear that I will have a more focused place to share my upcoming mobile games and apps.

Love it. Always great to see a new games focused website by the always awesome INtense! Hopefully it will carry on in the awesome tradition of ModDB and IndieDB.

The only thing I question is the name. Slide? Is that how Aussies refer to "swipe"? Heh heh. Personally, I would've gone with any of these names instead of slide; SwipeDB, TouchDB, TapDB, or hey, why not just MobileDB?

Name aside, I think this is going to be a great site and I'm looking forward to watching where it goes!

tried and all those domains were taken (but not in use). Super frustrating but what can you do.

also isn't it "slide to unlock"

Ok, I'm glad you checked, and yes, it can be super frustrating when domains you want are already taken.

"Slide to unlock", hmmm maybe there's a game mechanic in there somewhere? ha ha, cheers Scott!

I like the site, though I don't have any mobile device to play these games on, so I'll probably stick with IndieDB and ModDb for now =)

Really enjoying slideDB. It has definitely helped drive people to our app and we look forward to posting more games on it. Perhaps you could make something like Indie Royale except just for mobile apps. You buy the bundle and get the download codes. Just a thought.

After using it for a few weeks, it kinda' feels a bit empty. Are people just not that interested in new android games?

SlideDB is a great site. I posted a video of our game and got almost 1000 hits in one day. It is also really easy to use and I really like the front page with the quick tabs to recently updated ect.
