Typically what I do is (Pray they don't go for me first) but try and ensure I have a good screening of at least 50 anti craft fighters. Make sure you watch those anti craft fighters because I have caught my screen of AA a couple times slipping away from my combat ships and almost getting parts of my fleet infected. As the humans make sure you have nukes ready to fire. (Shouldn't be too hard with the Phoenix) and the covenant CAS Assault Carrier is invulnerable to the flood I believe? So you should ensure you have a few of those if you're going Covie.
